Viewing Image Hotspots

Image Hotspots allow you to incorporate still images into your VR scenes. You can use them to present alternatives to material, color or shape without having to render an additional scene, show actual product shots, present before/after photos and more. Image hotspots are another way to enhance your design and tell your story in the context of the VR scene, without having to flip between VR and catalogs.

Viewing Image Hotspots in Browser Mode

Image hotspots will have a photo icon on the hotspot. If you are viewing the VR project from a computer, you can hover your mouse over the hotspot to view a thumbnail of the image.

Viewing Image Hotspots on a VR Headset

You can view Image hotspots on a VR headset by holding your gaze over the hotspot or by using your hand controllers to point and click on the hotspot.

A pop up of the image will appear.

Please note that External Links cannot be viewed in a VR headset. If the Image hotspot includes an External Link, it will not be visible in the VR headset.

Click on the Close button to exit the Image hotspot and return to the scene.
