Viewing AR Hotspots in Collaborate
Collaborate sessions just got more immersive. When a Presenter views an AR model on supported VR headsets, participants joining from their computer, smartphone or tablet can see the full mixed reality experience live on their own screens – giving visibility that wasn’t previously possible.
When a Presenter opens an AR model in their VR headset, the host and other guests can see exactly what they’re viewing in real time. This helps your clients and stakeholders understand scale, placement, and design intent more clearly.
So what’s new? Previously when a Presenter opened an AR model, participants would only see a static image of the model.

Now, the host and guests can have full visibility into what the Presenter is seeing and how they are interacting with the AR model:
Don’t forget – in order for the guest to open the AR hotspot, you must select their name in the Participants panel to assign them as Presenter.

AR hotspots remain fully interactive for the person viewing the model, while everyone else follows along with their perspective.
Note: This feature is only available for headset users with a Meta Quest Pro, 3 or newer.
